Why not show him the facts and figures from this AP article, “More men get economic boost from marriage”? It even includes a handy chart, based on the Pew Research Center findings, illustrating that “married men now tend to do better financially than unmarried men.”
Actually, this statistic seems to be based on more men marrying women with higher incomes than theirs. And really, if you’re trying to marry a man who makes less than you do, you probably would need a chart to convince him to do it. Good luck!
